Well, I might still be in denial, but as of last weekend I officially graduated from Penn State. It was a rough few days moving out of my apartment and saying goodbye to friends who have been like family for the past four years, but we definitely made the most of the last few weeks we had all together before graduation. So, I thought I'd post a few pictures of my last times at Penn State, including graduation weekend when Dad, Mom, and Erin were visiting.
So, we may have cheated with the next few pictures at the lion... it's possible that they were taken before we actually graduated, but that's because there is always a huge line for pictures on graduation weekend and our photo shoot took about an hour :) These are all my roommates - Val, Samie, Joy, and Kathleen - plus my roommate from sophomore year, Beth.
This one is my favorite... gotta love the rolled-up jeans under our gowns. I guess that could give away that it wasn't graduation day!
These pictures are from the Outer Banks during the week right before graduation when 14 of my friends rented a house in Corolla. Needless to say, it was an awesome way to spend our last week together, despite the crazy, windy weather!
At the end of every semester, ACF has a banquet on the last day of classes, which is always a good excuse to get dressed up. So these are just a few with my friends, including the last picture with two girls in my bible study, Jessie and Amy.
One of the things on our list of "musts" before graduating was to do some wine tasting at the Mount Nittany Winery. Don't quiz me, but at least I can pretend to know something about wine now.
These were taken at the Blue and White game, which gives a preview of the upcoming football season. It has rained every year since I came to Penn State, so it was amazing when it was sunny and beautiful. And after 4 years of cops on horseback blocking us from rushing the field, they finally let us on!!
